Together with Keir Starmer, @annaturley.bsky.social & @chionwurah.bsky.social I visited Nucastle - the football foundation in Newcastle. We saw their work with school children, adults with mental health issues, and young people looking for work.

Labour governments lift children out of poverty. 450,000 children will benefit from our choice to scrap the two child benefit cap, with those with the broadest shoulders paying a fairer share to cover the cost. 1/2

I am thrilled that the Manchester Digital Campus has been confirmed by the Government today. This is fantastic news for our city and will create over 9,000 jobs and a new city centre park that will bring the derelict former Ancoats retail park brought back to life.
