It was a privilege to speak at Figen Murray‘s Teddy Bears’ Picnic. Thanks to Figen’s campaigning, Martyn’s Law is now an Act - improving security against terrorism in our venues. Figen’s hand-knitted teddies symbolise the resilience, love and positivity that Figen and her family epitomise.

What a legend. Not only was John Prescott one of the best campaigners of our movement, he put the issues of climate change and real levelling up across regions at the top of political agenda long before they were fashionable. He was ground-breaking. And huge fun. RIP
