I did my first reading from Split Scream 6. It was a moment of catharsis. My mother died a few weeks before the release and I’ve struggled with the text since.

2 a.m., in defiance of confederate ghosts

I spent all weekend surrounded by friends, engrossed in conversations about writing, publishing, creativity, forging a truly diy approach, shit-talking, friend-praising, and more. Honored to call these fucks friends, and to have made new ones. I took zero photos but made the front page of a paper.

Spent the weekend hanging out with folks in the void, and it was amazing. Thank you to the Void Collective who put it together, and all the awesome people I connected with in Gettysburg, for such an awesome and memorable time. Can’t wait for next year
