Unsurprisingly this now means they are also defining for lesbians who they're allowed to be attracted to while still "qualifying" as a lesbian, and bars trans people from their own gender specific places while also admitting they're likely to be kicked out of their assigned ones based on appearance.

If you are a cis person *please* take 2 minutes to do this. Trans people with non-updated gender markers, historical gender marker changes, and X markers are terrified to travel right now; rolling back this policy would mean a lot.

The US federal government is moving to erase LGBTQ+ people from public life. They are moving to legalise harassment and oppression, and removing legal protections. They are doing this openly, and counting on the rest of the public not to fight. This is the "First they came for..." moment.
