This really resonates - I was taught the same formal essay structures back in the day and as a result every time I see people claim some grammatical quirk is sure proof of LLM authorship I get nervous about writing anything in public.

AI art as reference isn't bad just because it might get anatomy wrong. A good portion of art making is doing research. Like, for my Carmilla paintings I actually studied photos and illustrations of dresses from the 1800s. I got to UNDERSTAND what I was drawing. AI wont give you that.
