Forgot to update but Bootsy has gained a pound (8lbs to 9lbs) and the meds have helped him eat more and manage pain. He has another appointment elsewhere but the goal was to have him in less pain to eat so he doesn't develop more health issues in the process of waiting to get his teeth pulled.

I guess I always find this conversation funny because in my household the women were always the main and higher earning breadwinners.... I think that's why I find dating to be odd too because all this "I'm a man and I wanna be the breadwinner" is kinda an embarrassing because...be it then?? 😭

It's exhausting because everyone has different opinions. For example as an "older Gen Z" ever since I was 16 people called me 30. Not because I really looked older but because I was bald and to them bald = old automatically in which it doesn't and I was a kid. I still get that at 27.

Bootsy has a small check up appointment tomorrow (just to check up in between waiting for the more important appointment elsewhere). 💗🖤 The meds he is on have helped him eat more and managed his tooth pain well and I think he gained some of his weight back which is nice.

Lol yeah no. I wish they were $50 but instead they are $100-$500 and even more. I rarely make that table cost back so I don't go to conventions/markets much. For me it's becoming financially irresponsible to table at cons when I know I get more commission work and "sales" at home. (Still not lots)

Somewhere along the way I think some people conflated using references for art as being the same as tracing/copying. Plagiarism is totally different thing and not the same as using reference. If you don’t understand the difference, please read some art books and art history! Talk to working artists!

My unpopular opinion is that new artists start more unnecessary drama than they make art because with how social media is they think that they have to start something to gain a following. Spend that time having fun, drawing, and making friends. OR actually talk about REAL problems.

I think you can tell when I make art on Procreate vs CSP. My art in CSP tends to have more..."smooth" linework while procreate has textured line brushes and so on. I have to get one brush set I like for CSP that I use on procreate and maybe my lines will feel similar Either way, I love both. 🎨💗✨️
