Also I’d like to say I reached to a non profit trans mentorship program that I am technically apart of as a board member and my son was a mentee and shared my mutual aid flyer to the white trans director to share with that community and I haven’t received not one donation from any of them 🤷🏾‍♀️

The fact that racist white ppl donate hundreds of thousands to their own for saying racial slurs and the “good“ white ppl will donate millions to a white woman killed by the state but will not do the same for black and brown ppl should tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about white ppl period.

My local poetry community is having a vigil and poetry reading for the woman that 🧊 killed but didn’t have one for the black man who was also killed by 🧊 this month nor did they include him in the one they are having for the white woman……

I am very exhausted of the narrative that healing from trauma depends mostly on the self. Self love. Self care. Healing from trauma requires the self PLUS a dedicated support system. A person healing without a dedicated support system is just as bad as the trauma they are healing from
