I really been thinking about humans ing obsession with power and control and how that seems to be the root to many of humanity’s problems.

I watch this therapist named Alan Robarge and he is so good at explaining attachment trauma for me. In a recent video he talks about how if you grew with an emotional unavailable parent then you code absence as relating which could lead to being loyal to loneliness and longing. WOW.

even when mutual aid is "oversaturated" it still by default excludes the multitude of Black + trans + disabled users on here who's large goals are exclusively because they keep getting set back by biases. keep losing housing. security. food. keep needing more to make up for what keeps being lost.

Every day you can choose to do something new that is helpful, beyond a share. You dont have to wait on the right moment for mutual aid posts to blow up. Sometimes its ur contribution that does the trick. U can influence destinies. help ppl. U dont dont have 2 wait for their post to land at ur lap

It’s hard to “let go” and “move on” from ppl when you have yet to find your ppl. I am proud of myself for keeping my boundaries and staying no contact with some ppl but it just feels so hollow at times.

As Mother's Day approaches I am reflecting on the trauma of Black single motherhood. I have so much grief and resentment over it. The isolation & loneliness of it all. The expectation to rise above it ALONE while ppl cheer you on for taking on so much while not helping in substantial ways.
