Even though life feels bleak right now, the woods are beautiful. The birds chirping every morning sound gorgeous. It's amazing the type of foliage you see when you are deep in the woods. I have a broken camera screen otherwise I would take photos.

It stays in the '30s and early '40s where I am. Even during the day it's barely warm enough to keep me from being cold at night. I don't know how I've survived but I got a very warm sleeping bag and tent. It's very damp as well.

The pain from my fibromyalgia is kicking up. It was much less when I had a place to live before I got kicked out. It makes it hard to move in this cold. But I'm doing the best I can to stay fed.

I know it's hard to watch someone struggle continuously and still need support, but I'm doing the best that I can. The housing voucher has stalled. I'm not sure when I can get out of these woods, and unfortunately, where I live it's cold most of the year.

Reflecting on life. Let's talk about how my life began. 1988. October 1st. I am 2 and 1/2 weeks old. My mother has severe postpartum depression. She was drinking earlier in the morning that day with her mother. My father decided to tell me this even though it's not relevant.

Even if I got the apartment, I will still have to pay out of pocket for top surgery. It's $12,000, but there is an option to pay later. Right now I just don't have options for affording recovery from the surgery.

I can't sleep tonight. I hear the howls from the wolves. I think there are bears also I smell animal poop. But when I set up my tent there was no smell or tracks but I also went to sleep so who knows? Is anyone up who could talk privately?
