When we explain it like this to people, sometimes they're like "that's horrible!" and sometimes they're like (paraphrased) "no that makes sense; if you have to rely on other people to help you survive, you should also be punished for it." (Often said without realizing how much they rely on others.)

I know that I'm awesome & have a lot of great qualities. I'll meet the right person eventually. People often romantically & platonically treat me like I'm lesser due to my disabilities & circumstance. When I should be praised for accomplishing so much despite all my obstacles.

Valentine's Day is always conflicting because on one hand, it's great we're celebrating love. But it's a reminder that a lot of disabled people can't have a partner because they could lose their disability benefits that keep them alive.

I love the bat themed gear I bought from Bibi. I use the compression gloves at some point every day. And the walking cane is just what I need for my bad balance days. I highly recommend the black & purple bat designs too!
