I tried Japanese "raw" Pepsi. My verdict is that it's Pepsi, just a higher quality. I taste tested it against Soda Shoppe Pepsi with real sugar, which is what we had in the house. The raw version tastes slightly better but the finish is cleaner by a mile. No aftertaste. Just drinkability.

it's 2016: north carolina introduces a bill to ban trans people from using bathrooms safely. there's a national outcry; companies withdraw business up to and including the NCAA cancelling a publicized game. the bill fails. it's 2026: kansas passes a law nullifying trans people's licenses. crickets.

It is very hard not to have a safe choice to use the bathroom in public. It may be impossible to continue living, working, eating, etc without a valid driver's license if your life was built around driving and the assumption that your license wouldn't be invalidated overnight by the legislature.

This is the time for those of you who have never taken an action for trans people to fucking start tomorrow.
