This weekend was #shamrocksandshenanigans weekend, the annual running celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. My son came home just to run this event. Me? My goal was simple: FINISH. I’d run alone, since my son is much faster than me. I ended up coming in 8th out of 27 in my age group, finishing at 38:12.

#tbt to my Poisson Ivy (aka Mermaid Poison Ivy) shoot! I knew I had to shoot her on Mermaid Beach, where we shot Serena last fall. Serena’s shoot went much more smoothly than Ivy’s, because SOMEONE didn’t get the car stuck in the sand, plus we shot earlier to avoid being out as the tide came in.
