Itâs underappreciated just how radical ABC's budget proposal is. It requires deep, deep cuts. If they are approved, itâs impossible to tell whatâs on the chopping block. Libraries? Community centres? Investments that improve public safety? I donât know - and I donât think ABC knows, either.

this is incorrect. If you trade labor for wage to survive, you're working class. I am reminded of the Rick Roderick test for if you are working class: don't work. Stop working. If something bad happens to you after a while, you were working class.

Every reputable expert I know considers mRNA vaccine technology to be one of the most revolutionary advances in medicine in our lifetimes. Its inventors won the Nobel Prize in 2023. Shutting it down now is pointless self-harm to humanity.

Hey, remember when the Panama Papers were released and they showed how basically every wealthy person on the planet was avoiding taxes by offshoring their money and nothing was done about it except the reporter who broke the story was murdered with a car bomb?

It's so dark that when the guys from Alien (1979) ask Mother questions and she's like, "Cannot compute," my first instinct was like, "It's so nice how she merely withholds information instead of lying while complimenting them. What an optimistic vision of the future"

the actual story here is that the president of the united states is a pathological liar and unhinged narcissist who regularly invents world-shaking claims and takes credit for things that didn't happen, BUT THE NEWS MEDIA CANNOT SAY THAT, so instead the story becomes "is there a war? who knows!"

Perfect opportunity for us to back out of this stupid golden dome money put. $61 billion as a bribe for a program that won't work and won't even pretend to be operational for decades, by which time it would almost certainly be obsolete
