I knew Poilievre throwing the RCMP under the bus while claiming Trudeau should be jailed would unravel PP. PP wants to act like Canada is the US, but it isn't. There is a much lower ceiling to that kind of rhetoric here, and to throw the cops under the bus is suicide for a right winger.

There are not good likely outcomes for an election, but that doesn't change that Carney's budget cannot stand. This government has to fall, no matter what follows—and we do not know what follows. I wish folks would understand that sometimes there is an impasse and that consequences will follow.
