there is no evidence whatsoever to suggest any intellectual advantage in anything they do and a great deal of evidence that suggests the absence of it; furthermore, the more competent/capable a person is the more prospects they have if they opt out of executing the evil things (and thus, they do!)

The difference between them and me and presumably you, is that you and I don't think that having no moral constraints is some kind of sophisticated strategy no one's ever thought of before. They do and think that's what separates them from the little people who are too dumb to think of it.

It does not take any especial brand of genius to understand that if you have no moral standards and don't care about breaking the law, you can accumulate wealth and power in a way that people who are morally and ethically upright cannot.
