This is most likely disinformation or that particular agent being a transphobic bastard. State docs, including licenses and birth certificates, are not beholden to federal regulations. Gender markers have nothing to do with adoption. There are no reports of people being detained. Do not panic.

I have bought two necklaces, an ear cuff, and now a bracelet from @peculiarityshop.bsky.social in the span of two weeks. I’m not sure if my mother (to which the packages are going) or whoever on that team is shipping the orders will be more alarmed. Half are presents, but still.

There’s a key distinction between saying “things are really horrible and bleak BUT we can work together to survive this” and “everything is totally fucked forever and we should give up now and wait for death.”
