Great thread and it's worth noting that a common accusation aimed at POC, natives, and other marginalized groups is that they are sexually depraved. The "depravity" in this case isn't the act of assault itself, it's sexual assault being wielded by the "wrong" people, people who shouldn't have power

And now that this is coming to light for those same people to start moving on to "well maybe it isn't such a big deal that these men have engaged grooming and pedophilia?" is going to make me vomit up my entire skeleton in inchoate rage.

Honestly, this is advice I wish I'd told myself years back - trying to shoehorn myself into something when my brain isn't feeling it is going to drive me absolutely fucking mental, and I'll get shitty results for it. Working on something that strikes my keys right is going to be MUCH healthier.

You can practically see me tuning mental energy levels in different aspects while reams of text scroll by in my eyes. Plastic and metal hands dancing between holographic projects. Something within is alive again, the beat difficult to resist, the heart pulsing with love and optimism. 💙

I'm starting to feel the taste to do personal art again, develop my own creative worldbuilding, storytelling, and even developing my 'sona further. I want to CREATE. And I also need to balance that against the commissions that keep the roof over my head. Careful. Patient. All in their time.

For example, I used to run tabletop RPGs for my local friends (FFG's Deathwatch RPG, quite prominently given I'm a longtime 40k fan) before I transitioned, but I think I got burned out on it. Now I'm positively EATING the Eclipse Phase books because I've gotten the bug to run a game again.

I think it just dawned on me that with my depression having lifted, I'm coming back into what I was initially worried might be a (perhaps minor) manic episode, but I recognize as a creative state I haven't felt in years. Pardon me while I incorporate this into my flow

I'm also having to learn that sometimes my ADHD is gonna take me places I didn't plan on going some days, and all I can do is go with the flow of it when that happens. To resist the flow would only tire myself out, and for diminished output anyways. Flow, and move to shore in calmer waters

I cannot begin to properly articulate how upsetting it is to have had people baselessly accuse trans people of being groomers and pedophiles only for it to come out that they were deliberately doing this as part of a project to provide cover to actual groomers and pedophiles in positions of power
