Seattle could easily automate parking violations - submit a photo w/ location and timestamp, send a ticket to the offender. It would be trivially easy, even if each photo is manually reviewed. We could model it off NYC's anti-idling law, incentivizing people to submit reports. So why don't we?

I've never had any luck reporting parking violations on Find-it Fix-it, they always just close my reports without ticketing anyone. This sucks. I would prefer they actually address violations!

these cameras are almost exclusively on the arterials where council limits dense and affordable housing. homeowners in million dollar homes off arterials won't have this continuous surveillance on them for all the talk about one seattle - there very much isn't one. this is renter surveillance.
