It is so damning of US news media that so many outlets refuse to just straight up say that Senator Tim Sheehy assaulted an activist. He did not "help" Capitol police. They did not need his help. He wanted to assault the guy and did. He should resign.

I wrote about how the US and Israel carried out an attack on an Iranian girls school on par with the OKC bombing and US media relegated it to a back page story. No stand alone evening news segments, no front page stories, it made A11 in the NYT then everyone moved on.

If your GameCube is missing the SP2 port, this $5 adapter from @collingall is a good alternative. Its not as good as the SD2SP2...but if you don't have the SP2 port, you don't really have a choice, do you? ;p

Did you know that one of the best ways to saturate a link when doing a backup over network is plain old HTTP? It is pretty low overhead and you can really max out your speed by using a parallel download program like aria2c (remember to fsfreeze though!)

i've upgraded the Ethernet controller applet for

this is the main loop of the applet working in bridge mode (acting as a network card for your PC). no weird optimizations, no hacks, just a loop that forwards packets in normal boring Python
