This is so heartbreaking. Like some of the other ppl quoting this post, I never knew her personally, but I always appreciated her written work, especially what she said about vocational awe. I even think that in some of my previous jobs I embodied that, and to my peril. She will certainly be missed.

I only knew Fobazi through her writing, but my god, WHAT a loss. Her work has had such an impact on librarianship, an influence that will long outlive her heartbreakingly short life. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved her.
