-long periods of tense build up to fast, explosive PVP fights -entirely possible to 1v3 if you get the drop on a team and know what you're doing -your build and skill matter less than map knowledge and knowing when to pick fights -knowing where the enemy is while staying hidden yourself is key

Some of my favorite memories of Elden Ring PVP were those long, drawn out invasions that took 30, sometimes 45 minutes of gradually wearing a team down in a psychological battle and I've already had runs in Marathon that mimicked that same experience. Really fun stuff.
