Shaped another bonsai today, this is another Crabapple I've been growing in a pot for the past few years. For this one, I actually planted it on top of a river rock, and then covered the rock with dirt so that the roots will grow over the rock.

Dumping and crime wouldn't be nearly so prevalent on forest lands if there were so many logging roads crisscrossing them. Retiring old roads reduces maintenance costs, makes the public lands easier to patrol, reduces opportunities for dumping and vandalism, and reduces fire risk.
