Weāre seeing the potential for coastal flooding today and Thursday due to whatās commonly called āKing Tidesā in combination with storm events. If you see a flooded road, donāt risk your it vehicle. Try a different route. Donāt make an emergency worse for our busy first responders.

We have always heard "If you love something, set it free", and now that includes Damon Point. A rising tide may lift all boats, but itās also cutting off access to this area. That makes it easy to get stranded out there, and itās why we regrettably have closed access.
