Truly incredible diplomatic timing from Donald Trump to post what amounts to all but an open "fuck you" to the UK at almost exactly the same time as Keir Starmer confirms a US State Visit from the King is going to happen.

Amazing how often Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth refer to the Strait of Hormuz as if it's been closed for decades and they've started opening it, but might not finish the job. Instead of the reality: it being an unprecedented crisis of their own making.

The Farage / Ipswich Town thing is so interesting. Ipswich claimed he’d booked a tour under a different name. Athletic say he was guest of chairman. (The crossover of UK football with Reform on X is sooooo under appreciated as a social force.)
