Our democracy is not self-executing. It depends on us all as citizens, regardless of our political affiliations, to stand up and fight for the core values that have made this country the envy of the world.

So, sadly, I guess those of us who weren't quite old enough to experience the "Red Scare"...or medical outcomes before vaccines...or industry before consumer protections, are now about to find out what it was like. Never in a million years, did I think this would happen. Heartbreaking.
