Brianna Ghey was murdered by transphobic classmates she knew in real life. In part because media outlets like the Guardian normalised transphobia.

Some analysis of the fact that this “solution” wouldn’t have protected Brianna while this government’s actions would have made her life actively worse is needed. Otherwise this looks hollow and exploitative.

I asked my hosting service to block any dynamically inserted ads for AI in podcasts I’d made. There was no option to do so. They do it with product codes. There were product codes for drugs, hate speech, firearms, dark web shit. You could opt out of those (or in). But not for AI. We found a bodge.

Probably Telex and almost certainly the later "Glass TTY" VDU variety - hence the "Scroll up" key to roll the display upwards to the start of the message because it wasn't a paper roll. "Who Are You" would be "WRU" on a mechanical TTY and sent "Figure shift" and 'D' to the other end. This would 1/2
