This @pbs.org segment is an informative yet disturbing watch. I knew some of the ways data centers affect communities, but this goes in DEPTH. It showcases the impact to those living near these data centers, the cruelty and audacity of the tech companies themselves. A very important watch!

The most vehemently anti-AI side of me wants to say "too little, too late," but at the same time, I feel like there should be some capacity for forgiveness if he has, indeed, genuinely realized the mistake he made here. Of course, he's got a lot of work to do to regain our trust after this.

I used to love making things in 3D but never got to a level where I could rig/pose my creations, or have any idea how to make game suitable assets. I still use 3D but mostly just to mockup ideas for 2D illustration. I’d love to be able to make 3D art for games though!

Looks like I was wrong about the deadline for NHK's Comiket documentary. Comiket's English Twitter account stated it would only be available until May 3rd but the website itself states that it will be online for a full year. So that gives you plenty of time to still watch this fantastic video.
