Okay, now for an actual post about my thoughts on 2025. It was the longest year ever, though I think that sentiment's shared by others. It was weird in that so many new things happened and uncertain because we thought we'd be moving to another country for a large portion of the year.

With the new Animal Crossing update coming out in like a month from now, I've been doing a final push to really complete my Mario Party 2 island. I've been filling up the small gaps with different iterations of the mini games, plus making costumes!

MAN, I have an idea for a long form comic, but it's in such the early stages of development that I'm afraid of talking about it in fear that I won't actually make it after all. And also because it's a mystery comic. Can't reveal much about the mystery after all!

I was in a very euphoric mood about my art a couple of days ago, so I also drew this! In times like these, and for the first time, I actually feel...pretty happy about my imperfections in my drawings? Like, it feels more human, if that makes sense? #comics

The mom meeting I'm a part of is singing Christmas carols, so I'm pulling out an old favorite from my college days: hiding in the bathroom until singing time is over.

I know it's difficult to be creative when we're just trying to survive. But it does matter. Whether you make things professionally or as a hobby or even if you make something that you never show to anybody. It's good for the human soul to create.
