As we dismantled in-house capacity, we dramatically ramped up the requirements/paperwork for executing basically any project (RFPs for consultants because that's been outsourced, EIS's, lawsuits). And the result is... car crashes like this, which don't make the front page but undermine confidence.

my father-in-law (z”l) taught at bard before he was forced to retire due to motor neuron disease and this is the first time i’ve been grateful he passed away this fall so that he doesn’t have to see the school he put so much of his last functioning years into crash like this
