We fought to keep Christ Hospital open. The judge ruled against us, but we are not done. Every tool in my toolbox is on the table, including eminent domain. HRH think they were above the law. We will hold them accountable.

Today Mayor Solomon directed Corporation Counsel to file for an injunction to keep Heights University Hospital open. HRH failed to follow state law. Jersey City will fight to prevent a community hospital from being closed illegally. #ChristHospital

Jersey City, this may end up setting the record for snowfall. Crews from across city agencies have been hard at work for over 24 hours to keep up with the snow. Now that snow is slowing, we can expand out operations.

Good morning, Jersey City. We are still in the middle of this storm. Snow continues to fall and winds remain very strong. Governor Sherrill has extended the statewide travel ban. ⚠ Stay OFF the roads. All non-essential travel is banned. ⚠

After the last snow storm we installed some new processes and personnel into our snow operations. For example, most of our trucks have GPS on them, but the tools wasn't integrated into any of the ops. Now we have a team tracking to ensure streets get cleaned and gaps are hit.

We are aware of a power outage in the Heights. PSE&G is on site and working on restoration. We will update when we get more information.
