the two major hallmarks of 00s rock music are 1) dense ultra clever lyrics 2) the worst guitar tones ever produced, and because they combine both so excessively, this makes Fall Out Boy the ultimate 2000s rock band

I def have more positive feelings about the new Tame Impala record - perhaps because my expectations are reasonable? - but I think vibes around it would've been better if they had the sense to lead promo with "Afterthought," a genuinely great and catchy classic style Tame tune
