I don’t think it’s unusual to say that even if AI art is becoming harder to distinguish from real art, learning that it’s made by AI completely nullifies any admiration you might have held for it on a surface level before learning that.

at some point, the FFXIV community is going to have to reckon with the fact that the reason it has such a substantial problem with racists is that moderates and centrists who "don't want to get involved" and "don't want to discuss politics/drama" continue to tolerate them
