I just got tear gassed along with thousands of union members, many of whom had their families with them. Federal agents at the ICE facility tear gassed children. We must abolish ICE, DHS, and we must have prosecutions. I expect to see enforcement of our city code prohibiting the use of tear gas.

You can feel like something is inevitable and still experience shock. Many of us knew something like this would happen, bc things like this have already happened, bc law enforcement functions with impunity, bc ICE kept drawing its guns on observers. But emotional and moral shock can still occur.

You know who isn't stressed out right now? The 'snow monkeys' of Jigokudani Monkey Park in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. They're wild Japanese macaques (Macaca fuscata) who live in the nearby hills, but winter in/around natural hot springs (onsen) in the park.

I’m at 82% full internet burnout. Almost everything is fake, dumb, or inaccessible. It used to be a place of wonder, and now it’s a dull brick owned by at most 3 companies. I love supporting friends and meeting new people, but I want more than this. Also don’t get me started on queer censorship.
