Our condolences to the family, friends, and fans of comics creator Sam Kieth, who passed away on March 15. We were honored to be able to showcase an array of his work in our 2013 exhibition 'Sam Kieth: Samplings and Dabblings.'

Saddened to hear of the passing of Sam Kieth, a brilliant artist, writer, and all around human being. One of the earliest artists to jump aboard Image in its infancy. Sam used Mako and Savage Dragon in the Maxx and I used the Maxx in Savage Dragon. We only collaborated once and Sam bailed on that.
