OK, this is wild. Another bonkers development from the Ting Lab at Stanford. Long time @the.3i.social customer @aliceyting.bsky.social et al have created a unique tool for the neuroscience community: Light-Activated TeNT that potently inhibits synaptic transmission when and where you want it. 🔬🔥🧠

Just a gorgeous #Purkinje neuron all by itself in the cerebellum. Only with #lightsheet #microscopy on a whole #cleared sample could you ever hope to catch a lone reporter expressing cell in it’s entirety. #science 🧪
