Why are you not using ALT text when posting images? It’s a genuine question - visually-impaired folks rely on screen readers to announce alt text so they can understand an image's meaning and function, and you’re actively excluding them without providing it. Perkins has a great guide to ALT text:

In addition to accessibility, this is another reason to use alt text. Especially when posting pictures of people and screenshots of articles. Muted terms respect the alt text. If someone is muting news of a person, show, movie, IP, etc. Bluesky won't show it to them if it appears in the alt text.
