I write a lot of IT project scoping documents. When I'm doing slide 17, I always sing "Give me, give me, give me deliverables" to the tune of "Deliverance" by goth-rock funsters The Mission.

...and a very happy birthday to our third album "Perverse", which was released thirty-three years ago, today. For most of the fans we speak to, it seems to be one of those "IYKYK" albums, and that makes us very happy, proud, and quite humble, too.

Sick to death of people claiming Die Hard isn’t a movie. There are several clues that it definitely is: It’s 130 minutes long and full of actors It has a beginning a middle and an end It has a soundtrack The aspect ratio is consistent of other movies of the era

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing. All from his movies.

I'm releasing the prose serial I wrote during the 2010s. The publisher collapsed, so it never got its proper release (or editing), but it is a finished project.

The Playground: My First Novel (Sort of)
I’ve been holding onto this one for a long time. I wrote the nine short stories that make up this “novel” from 2015 to 2019. It was meant to be released episodically alongside two other series in a shared universe. The publisher called the idea Serial Boxes. My box was called Futurepunk, a cyberpunk-light quasi-dystopia. Lee Chrimes created it, but he was pretty hands off.

Created a new page on my blog to showcase all my old virtual series projects.

New Virtual Series Page
I spent about a significant portion of my formative writing years working on projects known as "virtual series." Effectively, writing a TV show and releasing the scripts like they were the finished episodes. It was probably the most prolific I've ever been... though I never managed to finish a season. Old shame for sure. Anyway, I created a page for all my old VS work.

2025 day 15: Shocker (1989) Mitch Pileggi as a bad guy is weird to see, but after a more dark and sombre start this goes absolutely batshit in the 2nd half, and I have to wonder if a better film was waiting to be unleashed (esp if the FX director hadn't checked out so early)
