In the end, after she stared at me like this was some basic political disagreement and not a policy that evidence shows will kill kids, I had enough. I told her she has blood on her hands and walked off.

She told me I was “coming in hot” when I cited that studies show these policies will kill trans kids. She said they have “different studies.” (!!!) She had no response when I asked about them *only* banning puberty blockers gender affirming care, nor when I told her statistical regret rates.

There need to be social consequences for enacting anti-evidence policies that kill kids. One of Danielle Smith’s staffers just called me over (??) at an event wanting to say hi. Once I realized who she was, immediately questioned her about trans rights.
