Thinking a lot about how my boss' boss that I interviewed for class yesterday doesn't have a single social media. And how I would love to follow that example. And also, how the majority of the friends I have are *only* accessible through social media. It's a lonely feeling.

For a long time, I kept up with every name of every sibling lost in the year and held ritual in private at home in honoring those we lost. Because grieving is a private thing in a society that minimizes public emotions. Warps them. Villainizes them. And it is exhausting to be judged endlessly.
