I spent like hours late into the night fighting the final boss in the original Trails game trying to beat it that first time I played it. I died like three times with each fight being long and drawn out and it kept overwhelming me by spawning little minions.

The original Trails in the Sky FC game wasn't actually that difficult, but it had insane spikes in difficulty. Just out of nowhere nasty slaps in the face.

I got my friend who didn't grow up playing video games into playing difficult games/playing them on higher difficulties because there's nothing more exciting than beating an absolute asshole of a boss that's mostly bullshit

They definitely made the Trails remake way easier than the original with all these bonus actions and buffs that activate under certain conditions Those birds in that limestone cave would murder you in the original

The thought the Trails remake's english script and dubbing is still really good is a bit of a miracle because they were aiming for a simultaneous English/Japanese release and the only issue I've had so far is that there's a tiny few redundant lines that could have used a little punching up.

I think most people wished the Trails remake had the same English script as the original, but the charm is still all there. The only real issue with the new script is that it can be a bit redundant sometimes. The original English script would throw in more jokes during those moments.

Anyway what I'm trying to say while on shift at my job and it's a really boring shift is that you should play the Trails in the Sky remake or even the original that's fine too

Not surprised this happened tbh. Devs no longer need to disclose if they use Gen AI to assist in development e.g. coding tools. Only if they generate content for the game that the player consumes in-game, via marketing etc.
