hey, fellow brits and europeans in this heat wave! If you're on any of these you're more sensitive to the heat. Make sure you drink water, stay in the shade, and avoid over-exertion.

Depressing day already. Another dumped fridge freezer by our bins, another cafe (the first one I went to when I moved here) closed, and the plants left in the lovely gift shop that closed LAST week are now dead in the window. AND IT'S TOO HOT.

Name a better engineer than a London beaver. Weāll wait. 𦫠These incredible creatures were reintroduced to the city and have already stepped up to stop flooding at a Tube station and restore local habitats. Nature is healing (and civil engineering).

As floods get worse, Britain tries a new solution: beavers
About 400 years ago, beavers were hunted to extinction across Britain. Now they're being reintroduced as little climate warriors, as communities harness their dam-building skills to mitigate flooding.

Nigel Farage really is a one trick pony. His divisive and inflammatory comments about immigration is all he has. Is it any wonder he wonāt want you to know that net migration has fallen by 82% since its peak under the conservatives. LETS MAKE SURE THE PUBLIC KNOW THE REAL FACTS

Important data point here: āA sharp fall in Labour's performance is accompanied more often by an above average Green performance than it is by a strong Reform performanceā. The Greens have already hurt Labour even before any direct gains.

Unpopular opinion, the more the meat content in sausages, the less I like them. Waitrose basic saus were 65%pork and delicious. They've now put prices up and made them worse. All the posh ones with high pork content ARE TOO MEATY.
