Ugh. Trying to get stock art off Shutterstock and it makes it so hard to avoid the AI slop. Doesn't help that uploaders don't always label it. My current trick is to only use art uploaded before 2021, but that feels like it screws genuine artists uploading new stuff.

Crappy shark movie #190 was WATER PARK SHARK, which we ranked at #122 (below Bikini Shark & Ouija Shark 2). It’s the 1st movie where we are convinced the stinker of a script was written by ChatGPT! Acting was fun, CGI sharks were fun, budget was decent, but the script was bad.

So, Jason was right. This is very much my jam. I started from this video and have been delving into his content, and it’s genuinely fantastic. This is some of the best and most PRACTICAL worldbuilding advice I’ve seen.

Last night we watched SHARKS VS MERMAIDS, coming in at #156 out of the 189 crappy shark movies we’ve seen - right between Noah’s Shark and Sharkula! Were-sharks turn out to be guys wearing a shark mask, and mermaids turn out to wear a surprising amount of eye makeup for people who live underwater.

Those aren't sharks but, like, shark-headed hunks? Which is surprising given that mermaids are fully half-fish! I mean, WTF, pick a mutated body part and human-to-animal ratio and stick to it! Or maybe that's why they're fighting? Is it civil war in the humanoid-cryptid kingdom? YES I'm excited too!

I can't help but notice that the shark appears to be not a shark but rather some form of shark-man who enjoys fisticuffs. I am also very excited for this.
