Well I am well-known for my passion for anime-inspired gear… seriously, the targeting on this ludicrous.

I'm being inundated with (valid) platforms offering me small gift cards to do surveys/offer feedback etc. Things like Patreon, Kickstarter, etc., all platforms I use. But they all seem to want to give me $10 to do a survey.

I've been saying this forever. People Google. They read the AI summary of what websites say. The sites die off. The AI now has no data to scrape. The only way out of that for the people who do the work providing the info for the AI to slurp up and regurgitate is to put it *all* behind paywalls.

Also got an email from an AI-powered TTRPG platform looking for marketing oportunities. Replied that like most of the TTRPG industry (and, indeed most creative industries) are staunchly anti-generative AI and cannot support projects which use it.

Got an email from somebody 'outraged' we were 'enabling' Ken Whitman by covering his latest scheme. I replied that it is important to shine a light on bad actors, something we have done in the past (Evil Genius Games, WotC trying to cancel the OGL, the ’NuTSR’ debacle, etc) and will continue to do.
