These relatively smaller funds are not getting the attention they need even though they are supporting tons of families. I know we can pay every rent.

It's a little weird working professionally in the native plant gardening space but renting with no gardening ability. So much of my job's outreach work is focused towards landowners re: planting and invasive spp. management. I wish I had more ideas of how tenants fit into the convo, as one myself.

I have to say I don't really understand the bakery quitting fantasy trope in academia/PhDs. When I feel like quitting my PhD I talk myself out of it by remembering how much I don't want to work in food service/retail with 4 AM shift starts, no climate control, and heavy lifting again.
