Today I visited the Takeshima Aquarium in Gamagori, which specializes in deep sea animals. I saw giant isopods, spider crabs, deep sea octopus and all kinds of fascinating #invertebrates.

Art was an approved method of disassociation / self-soothing in my childhood. The extreme connection to nature and animals was inherent - and thankfully both got nurtured by wonderful people at the right times. Comfort -watching Watership Down /NIMH etc 10k times probably shines through too.. 😅

As for today we're getting more food and a better litter for kitty, setting her up for her foster home (with the sweetest person I know thank you SO much) and then it's edible in and Knives Out. I will always do this no matter how broke or tired I am because it's wired into my soul, but wow. Tired.
