Remember, kids! Using GenAI can cause brain rot and lead you to think you invented things such as *checks notes* the sky changing colors and *double-checks notes* ....frogs on a pond. *drops notebook* *throws hands in the air* *walks off stage*

Every Christmas it's important to slow down and take a moment to reflect on how much the Peltzer kitchen would stink after that gremlin explodes in the microwave.

A trainer at the gym told me that one of his clients in tech (very Seattle story) was frantically asking him what AI might be good for at the gym. Real “We have to make this thing happen, what is it for???” vibes.

Backposting some of the work I did for the

animation courses. This is the goblin character designed for animation tests. Originally named Edsel after the failed car but that name went stale on me and I haven't picked a new one yet. She is the namesake of my account.

Hard-hitting analysis from NYT. As you can see from the diagram, legal impediments are a weak gray box that can be defeated by a strong orange arrow and bold typeface Gift article (but it’s bad)

Guy who falls into a vat of acid at the playing card factory and just has a slow but brave recovery. Obviously he’s facing a lot of new challenges since the accident, but if anything he’s just more aware of what’s really important now.

The problem is: they've mistaken correlation for causation. They think their parents and grandparents had a good life *because* of manufacturing jobs. When, in reality, their parents and grandparents had a good life *despite* manufacturing jobs, because of unions, high taxes, and social policies.
