It's nothing everyone doesn't already know, but ICE/CBP guys know they can do whatever they want. They're the absolute dregs of the Violence Worker Community, not trained for anything like what they're doing, out of their depth, all that. But it starts with them knowing they won't face consequences.

I just came from the Venezuela briefing; can confirm this insane plan to indefinitely take Venezuela's oil at gun point and use it as leverage to micromanage the country. We're back in the nation building business. And we're going to make oil guys rich. Also, it won't work.

Occasionally as a litigator you run across an opposing party who repeatedly breaches contracts and settlement agreements and legal requirements — just never abides by them. Generally competent lawyers point out that you shouldn’t do business with or enter contracts with that person. /1

Any one of us could be shot or kidnapped because an ICE agent doesn’t like the look of us. Are you prepared to be murdered in cold blood while “news” sources repeat the claim you were “weaponizing your vehicle” trying to leave your driveway? They want you to accept that. They want to make it normal

ICE just murdered a woman here in Minneapolis. A legal observer. Shot her multiple times while she drove away as ordered. She was a US citizen. Absolute, unequivocal, cold-blooded murder by Trump’s gestapo. Abolish ICE, jail for everyone in charge. This is the lowest bar we accept now.

There are four Republicans currently serving in the House in seats in or near NYC. If Conway wanted to take a whack at the GOP, he could run in one of those districts. Instead, he's trying to steal one of the most liberal seats in the country, to make it more conservative. Fuck that.

This is a very concise statement of the case. The district Conway is running in is one where Dems regularly win with 90% of the vote. We elected one of the most liberal members of congress over and over when I was a kid, and re-elected him one more time after he died, just for good measure.
