Lunar new year is often near Ash Wednesday which complicates things. Our RC diocese often gives a dispensation to Asians celebrating LNY on Ash Wednesday to fast on another day (eg. Friday) Is that a dispensation I can seek? If so, who ought I seek it from, my usual parish priest? Director?🕯️
