Lol, it sure seems prosecutors mis-stated the law to the grand jury, then tried to redact GJ transcripts to conceal this from the judge, then tried to voluntarily dismiss charges to moot the issue and keep the judge out of it, and got caught and now the whole case is dismissed with prejudice. Some notes now that I’ve seen the transcript of the hearing, thanks to @lizdye.bsky.social . First: the government dismissed the felony count in an effort to convince the judge not to make them produce full transcripts, knowing they showed serious misconduct.
