"People will cut off family over politics, it's so silly" Is it? Is not wanting to associate with people who will do Olympic-tier mental gymnastics to justify/dismiss exhaustively documented child rape silly, now? I say cut 'em off, and let 'em know why. That's some shit they deserve to sit with.

If Starbucks won’t respect workers at the bargaining table, they don’t deserve our clicks or orders. Our call to action is simple: 📱 Delete the Starbucks app.

The bad news is that this site is almost certainly filled with feds by now. The good news is that we can give them all fetishes that will absolutely make them question their entire lives. This is the plot to pretty much every Grant Morrison comic by the way.

The question here is not "do I disagree with an instructor giving a student who didn't seem to read the article a zero," it's "do I disagree with vile slurs against an instructor who gave a student—who did not seem to read the article or follow the assignment—a zero." I think the question matters.

Using genAI alienates you from everyone else. It doesn't democratize art, it atomizes it. No genAI user is gonna get an outpouring of sincere support from others because even they themselves don't give a fuck about what they're making.

YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT! I HAVE WRITTEN A NEW ARTICLE! this one's a bit weird; rather than doing my usual "trying to organize my thoughts and building a winding case that builds on itself," I decided to show you what my EARLY article creation process looks like:
docseuss.medium.com/some-loosely...
loading . . .
some loosely organized thoughts about dialogue sysin games
think of this as me trying to find out what parts of dialogue choices are load bearing game design and what else can be done with dialogue.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at
#Broadview
. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

Now that I look at your replies, why was I the one you chose to reply to? A survivor of CSA and sex trafficking. Why do you throw hypotheticals at me when you know the answer bc it’s written in your question? Singling out and trying to silence survivors isn’t a good look or quality in a human.

Sure the QA will suffer, the quality will suffer, and in the long term it may hurt their reputation an future sales, but think of the bonuses the top brass will get for cutting costs in the short term.

here is my story about how Zohran's focus on community amid the loneliness epidemic helped young people connect their politics to an organizing infrastructure, that interviewed ZM, and does not use the NYT's framing of "they don't know how to make friends" :-) and also ran 4 days before NYT's lol

the political policy cure for “male loneliness” is - more time to hang with the fellas (4 day work week) - more money to spend with the fellas (higher wages) - more things to do with the fellas (taxing the rich and building 3rd spaces)

Folks, you can't report the United States to its manager. There's no superhero coming to save us. We don't need one giant act of heroism. We need millions of small acts of solidarity. Help one person in your community for nothing in return. Then, do it again. And again. That's the revolution.

RIP Graham Greene. Every time he popped up on screen when I was a kid, my mom would excitedly point him out for being an actual Native on the screen. Able to be deadly serious and infinitely hilarious (even in smaller roles like Last of Us), he ate up the screen. Nʌki’wah brother.
