I feel like too many people are going to use “Orbiter” in their weddings. Recently I was listening to The Chicks and “Lullaby,” which I played at my wedding came on and I still had to shut it off. Over a decade.

I am one of the many white people listening to Noah Kahan’s new album and maybe it’s because I recovered from a breakup along to “Boys For Pele” and “Don’t Give That Girl a Gun” (Tori Amos, Indigo Girls) but honestly I’m having a happy time.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you need out of something that feels abusive the person who is making you feel bad will never believe they are abusive. But I believe you, and I think you deserve to be happy.

It’s been a horrible week at work and this morning, as one of the day shift nurses started her week she asked if I wanted breakfast. She had ordered breakfast and included me. I hid in a back room zoning out and she got done with her early med pass and we had a quick meal.

I’m going to have to go to the dentist tomorrow. Hopefully all that needs to happen is the crown I recently got needs to be trimmed. I desperately need another crown (my teeth are another thing I’ve been losing since COVID) but it will be the end of the month before I can afford it.

My ability to lose thing is only surpassed by my ability to find said items when they are no longer needed.

I ended up having a vertigo attack. The vertigo is better but the headache that came with it is not. I’m out of my migraine medication and can’t afford more. The moral injury from being a nurse is too much.

I’m not sure how much more of this I can take. I am working so much and I never get ahead. It doesn’t matter how much or how hard I work. I just worked 6 shifts in a row. At least 10 hours for most of them. I worked an overtime shift and at the end they tried to get me to work more overtime+

I look up and notice everyone that was in line with me is gone. I notice the hot lady in front of me who arrived several moments after me in the chairs is gone. So I go ask. The computer didn’t transmit my name from point A to point B. I feel for those workers.

I can't call my seizure meds back in because I can't pay the copay and I'm out of the weed that underpins the meds and toilet paper, and pet food, and cigarettes, AND I've got like $40 of other bills I've let bounce all month pinging my phone four times a day each. I hate the end of the month.
