Erick just made Cat 3 landfall, by far the record earliest E. Pac. major hurricane landfall in western Mexico dating to the late 1950s. Kiko (Aug. 26, 1989) was previous record, over 2 months later than Erick! Here were previous May-July Cat 3+ EPAC hurricane tracks. Don't see any MX landfalls.

We are horrified by the attack in Boulder targeting an event in support of the Israeli hostages. We are closely monitoring and will update as additional information is confirmed.

We’re aware of the horrific attack in Boulder, in which a molotov cocktail was apparently thrown at a “Run For Their Lives” event for the Israeli hostages. This comes just 1.5 weeks after the deadly antisemitic shooting outside the Capital Jewish Museum.
